See Scribe Verbatim in action

A quick walkthrough of how you'd actually use it: open a case, read who said what, search or ask across every recording, message, photo and document — with cited answers — and turn the financial statements into a marital balance sheet.

Illustrative walkthrough — the screens below are mock-ups; your real data stays private to your case.

Start at your dashboard

When you sign in you see only the cases you've been given access to. Each card is a matter that holds all its files. Click one to open it.

Tidy your view by hiding a case; managers can archive a case or set how long its data is kept.

Browse the case by date

Inside a case, files are organised on a timeline — recordings, photos, screenshots and documents, sorted by when they actually happened, not when they were uploaded.

Audio and video are transcribed automatically; you'll see progress, and finished files open straight to their transcript.

Read exactly who said what

Every recording becomes a timestamped, speaker-by-speaker transcript. Speakers are kept apart automatically, and you can name them. Non-English speech is shown with an English translation underneath.

Search across everything

Search by meaning, not just keywords — across recordings, messages, journals, photos, video and documents at once, or narrow to just one. Each hit shows how relevant it is and jumps you straight to the moment, page or day.

Match a scan to your original

Got the photo the other side filed as an exhibit? Drop the scan in and Scribe finds your original in the case — with its real capture date, device and location — even from a cropped, tilted, mirrored or re-photographed printout.

Then it pulls everything from that same day: the journal entry, the messages, the other photos and the documents.

Add files just by emailing them

Every case has its own private email address. Forward a recording, photo, document — or a co-parenting-app export — to it and it's filed into the case and indexed. Verified senders go in automatically; anything we can't verify is held for a member to approve, so nothing slips in unchecked.

OurFamilyWizard reports? Forward the PDF. AppClose sends a download link instead of a file — forward the email and we fetch it for you.

Turn statements into a balance sheet

Upload bank, credit-card, HSA or investment statements and Scribe extracts every transaction, reconciles them against the statement's own opening/closing balance, classifies them by category, and attributes each to a party — building a marital balance sheet you can review and update.

It tracks assets alongside accounts — homes, vehicles, jewelry and more — reading values from appraisals and KBB screenshots, and linking a mortgage or auto-loan statement to compute equity. Drop in W-2s and tax returns and it derives each party's income — salary, bonus, dividends, rental — year by year.

Every figure stays tied to its source statement, with a supporting-document index.

Co-parent straight from the orders

For a matter that's moved past judgment, turn on Co-Parenting: every court order in plain language with the everyday rules it sets, a computed custody schedule, and shared child expenses — one cooperative record for both parents.

The schedule works out who has the children on any day from the rotation (say a 2-5-5-2), spells out each exchange, and keeps holidays separate. Log a shared cost and it's split by the court-ordered percentage, with a receipt attached and a running who-owes-whom balance.

Off by default — a case manager switches it on per case.
