Prepaid balance, refunded when unused.
Scribe Verbatim is prepaid: you add funds, and work draws them down at the unit prices. This page says plainly what happens to the balance — and to a disputed charge — when you close your account.
When you close your account, we refund the unused prepaid balance, except amounts already consumed or that we are required by law to retain. Refunds go back to the original payment method.
Work already performed — transcription, image and frame analysis, embeddings, GPU time, and storage already used — is not refundable. Taxes already remitted are not refundable except as required by law. There are no other refunds except as stated here or required by law.
You can stop using the service and close your account at any time from the account page, or by contacting us. Closing stops future charges but does not refund amounts already consumed.
If you dispute a charge with your bank, we may suspend the account while the dispute is investigated. Please contact us first — we will try to resolve it.
Email legal@sarras.systems from the email address on your account, with your account details and the words "refund request" in the subject. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
We aim to respond within two business days.
The binding wording is in the Consumer Terms of Service; current prices and the prepaid model are on the Pricing page.
